Carel Industries one of the finalists at the European Small and Mid-Cap Awards 2019

Carel Industries has been selected as one of the three ‘International Star’ finalists at the annual European Small and Mid-Cap Awards which will be held in Brussels on 12 November. 

The nomination is based on Carel Industries’ impressive results in terms of international sales, profit and market share growth. Among all of the small and medium-sized listed companies in Europe, the three selected as finalists are those that have achieved the best results internationally and that have been able to expand their presence both in new and existing markets. One important requirement for selection is indeed for the company to have a strong internalisation strategy and the ability to exploit opportunities outside of its own national borders.

Carel Industries is honoured to be considered as an example of companies which prosper and grow following an IPO.

The Awards, launched in 2013, were created by the European Commission to recognise and award the best small and medium-sized listed companies in Europe, identified through four varying categories and showcased on the night. The co-organisers of the event include EuropeanIssuers, representing listed companies, and the Federation of European Securities Exchanges (FESE), representing stock exchanges. The winner is decided by an independent, high-level jury, moderated by the European Commission, consisting of representatives from academia, asset management, brokerage and the media. 

Carel Industries has been selected from 27 nominated companies over 12 countries, listed on ten different European stock exchanges.
